Overview
Waiheke Wings operates at the Carsons Airfield on Waiheke and fly to a few destinations around the gulf islands and Auckland. They also offer daily scenic tours around the Hauraki gulf and Waiheke and Daily scheduled flights from North Shore Airport to Great Barrier and return.
In 2018, there was an opportunity to help stop the closure of Waiheke Island’s only airport. They took over the beautiful location as a home base for their operations, it enabled them to bring Waiheke Wings to life and save a vital air transport connection for the Island.
They have partnered up with popular tourist attractions on waiheke to make your experience a little more memorable.

The Batch Winery – Is Waiheke’s highest vineyard with spectacular views, enjoy long lunches, sunset dining, seasonal plates and outstanding wines.
Waiheke Dirt Track Club – Is the only local racing track on the island. They also have a clubhouse called the Woolshed that you can drink at and hire for functions.
Poukaraka Flats Campground – A large, flat, sheltered, vehicle-accessible campground set back from beautiful Whakanewha Bay located in the Whakanewha Regional Park.
Woodside Bay – A quiet little bay located in the Whakanewha region, It is a little bit of a drive but can be perfect for a quiet picnic away from all the busy Waiheke life.
Whakanewha bay – Located on the southside of Waiheke, it is a quiet bay but can be busy in peak summer times, it is also the nesting zone for our beautiful NZ Dotterel.
