Overview
Waiheke Library was built new in 2014-2015, it moved from next door where Waiheke Adult Learning is currently located. The newer building is about 800sqm and has many features. I will list many of the features below.
This newer complex has more parking, plus a big concrete outside location for hang outs and social meetups. Sometimes there are performances hosted there. This includes a big 3 metre chess board, cultural sculptures, outdoor seating, drinking fountain and more.
The library has access to a 3d printer, you will need to have the time to wait around for your item to finish, but a great value option to make a design.

The best way to access Waiheke Library is either Artworks parking lot or the library parking lot. If both parking lots are full you will have to park on a side street or down and the Main Oneroa Carpark. Longer vehicles would be best to park on a side street as most of the mentions parking lots don’t have very long parking spots.
If you need more information on parking visit our parking section.
