Overview

Surfdale beach is a south side beach on Waiheke, the beach is best at half tide or higher. If you go swimming at low tide you will have to walk like 200 metres out to get to nice deep water.

The beach features a Ski Lane and a basic boat ramp, one of only two on Waiheke, and the only one on the south side of the island. Making it the perfect spot for wakeboarding or ski biscuit fun.

The beach also has a nice grass park that’s about 600sm, with a smaller playground, this is a great family spot as you have a table with chairs, BBQs, Toilets and half basketball court. So, you can have lots of fun in a single location.

Surfdale Beach can have lots of sea lice depending on time of day and tide.
