Overview
Origin Movement is the ultimate Kids & Teens Gym on Waiheke! Climb, flip, jump, and move—building confidence, skills, and friendships along the way!
This gym is a new addition and the first of its kind on waiheke only opening its doors in 2025.
This movement gym is designed for energy, exploration, and just plain fun. Whether your child wants to learn parkour, master a backflip, conquer a bouldering wall, or just run wild in a safe and exciting space. This is the perfect place for kids to release some energy.
All sessions are guided and supervised by experienced coaches named Andrew and Ethan. Sandy is the gym manager.
Andrew is the head coach he has coached thousands of kids in parkour and gymnastics at leading gymnastics clubs, fitness studios, and movement facilities.
Ethan is the Parkour Program Lead Coach he is a experienced parkour coach with a passion for teaching kids how to move with confidence, creativity, and control.
Sandy is the friendly voice behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly. She answers parent questions and tracking kids’ progress to scheduling classes.
At Origin movement they offer a few different sessions such as Freestyle classes for Kids and teens, Toddlers and preschoolers and Open sessions.
In addition they are perfect for birthday parties and school holiday fun with their full-day and half-day holiday programmes.
Classes Offered
Freestyle classes for Kids and Teens 5-13 + Years
- which involve vaulting over obstacles, scaling walls, or mastering backflips and handsprings, kids build strength, agility, and confidence all under the guidance of their experienced coaches but also having a blast.
Freestyle classes for Toddlers & Preschoolers 2-5 years
- Designed to help little explorers build confidence, coordination, and essential movement skills.
Open sessions
- open sessions give kids the freedom to move, play, and challenge themselves while also providing structured opportunities to learn all under supervision of coaches
Birthday Parties
- Throw the ultimate birthday party with action-packed games, obstacle courses, and exciting challenges—all led by expert coaches. Accommodating 12 kids in one birthday session.
Holiday Program
- Holiday programmes keep kids engaged, active, and having a blast with a mix of parkour, tumbling, bouldering, flips, and movement challenges.
