Overview

Onetangi Secret Carpark I call it this because the signage to the carpark is minimal and trees now cover viewing the parks from the road. This carpark is pretty much always available to park in. The parks are free, shade from trees block the sun on the cars in the afternoons. It is also a 1min walk from Onetangi beach and from the looks of it it has no max duration to park there.

Only about 12-14 parks total, so it could easily become too busy if many people start using this hidden gem.

Note: Access into this carpark is only one way, you enter were the parking sign is.

Summary

  • 12-14 Parks
  • No Dedicated Motorbike Parking
  • No EV Charging
  • No Toilet – But One Close
  • No Dedicated Truck Parking
  • Bus Stop Close

The best way to access this parking lot would be coming from challenge and turning right at the parking sign 200-300m down the road.

Truck and boat parking not really available at this parking lot, but you might find some smaller trucks parked in here. It would probably be best to try find a long park over by Charlie Farley’s
