Overview
Oneroa Beach also known as Big Oneroa is one of the main beaches in Oneroa, it is situated walking distance from Oneroa village, which is where you will find plenty of shops and food places to enjoy.
It is one of the most popular beaches on Waiheke, with its perfect swimming conditions, a BBQ area to take in the views with friends/family, Public Toilets and Dog friendly during off the leash hours.
Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes, sunbathe till the day goes by or give your dog the time of there life and release some energy.
If walking, you can take one of Several walkways down from Oneroa Village, from Oneroa Village Lane, Ocean View Road or the main driving access Puriri Road.
There is also a boat ramp access point found on Korora Road which will lead you right onto the beach there is no launch ramp just beach launch (Beach parade road)

From Ocean View Road (Puriri Road)
If driving or walking this is the main access road it is called Puriri road, it will take you right to Oneroa beach you can find parking in many places under the trees or in the small parking lot. (It’s a Very popular Beach so parking can be hard to find during peak seasons)
from Oneroa Village Lane (walking/biking)
Accessible from Oneroa Village Lane opposite the Island Grocer and the public toilets there is a small windy paved walkway which will lead you straight down to Oneroa beach coming out by the beach public toilets.
From Ocean View Road (Walking/Biking)
Accessible from Ocean view Road opposite Coin Save and the bus stop there is another small, paved walkway which will lead you straight down the beach coming out by a unpaved turn around.
From Korora Road (Boat Access Ramp)
At the far end of Oneroa beach there is a sand boat launch area so be careful have the right vehicle to launch to avoid being stuck. Coming off Ocean view road, turn onto Korora Road follow this road until you come across a hairpin corner to your right you will find the gravel boat ramp.

Oneroa Beach is made of sand has plenty of pathways down, with ample room on the grass berms to take in the views of Oneroa beach.
