Overview

Little Palm also known as Nudie Beach given that name for a certain reason, you guessed it, it is the only beach on Waiheke were you can let everything hang out and swim and sunbathe NAKED.

Many Local Waiheke Nudists enjoy going to Little palm to do just that, it is a private little bay that is situated on the western side of Main Palm Beach, separated just across the rocks.

So if you don’t want your children or yourself to see ladies or gentleman in there natural beauty avoid that area or if you want to feel free without prying eyes everyone is welcome.

Key Access Points

Palm Road/Palm Beach

There is a parking lot at the end of Palm road opposite Palm Beach Hall, you will find a few steps down to the Beach and see rocks up ahead, walk through the paths between the rocks they will lead you to Little Palm (Nudie Bay)

Cory road (walking path)

On the corner of Cory road, first you will see stunning views, you will also find a small Moderate path which will lead you down to Little Palm beach this will come out at the far end of the beach.

Wheelchair Access

Little Palm is made of sand, going across or through rocks, and a moderate path so may not be possible to get to Little Palm.

Hire Beach Gear

If you need beach items on your stay at Waiheke, there is a local hire shop called Gear Grab, they have a range of beach items, like sea scooters, metal detectors, beach speakers, sea biscuits, beach tents and games. Starting at a price of $5 for the smaller toys.

Palm Beach Hall – The Hall is taken care of by a small hard working group of locals who are responsible for the up keep of the building and grounds, including the Red Shed.

The Red Shed – The Red Shed Art Gallery is a cooperative of artists from around Waiheke including sculpture, ceramics, painting, photography and more.
