Experience the Matiatia harbour from a sea kayak or stand-up-paddle board (SUP) on the beautiful waters surrounding Waiheke Island. Either by yourself or a guided tour.

The best way to access Kayak Waiheke, is drive to Matiatia and drive over to the building, if that is not available there is a public carpark about 80 Metres from main building. This costs $3.50 for 24 hours. If you have taken the fullers boat to Waiheke, you can just walk over to Kayak Waiheke, only about 2-3 min from the exit of the boat walking.

eRide Waiheke – A electric bike hire over on Waiheke. They have dozens of bikes and the hire prices start at $99. With guided and self guided tours.

Matiatia Bay – The first beach you see when walking off Fullers or Island Direct passenger ferry services coming from Auckland city or Devonport.

Waiheke Bike Hire – A 300m walk from fullers ferry terminal, it is located in the main car park, hiring Merida & Avanti mountain bikes for $50 a day and $20 per extra day. 

Fullers – A ferry service that travels from Waiheke Island to Auckland/Devonport. They have a licensed cafe and bar on board, proudly serving a range of goods.

Island Direct – A direct ferry service that travels from Downtown Auckland and Waiheke Island. It is a smaller ferry company in comparison to Fullers.
