Hospice Waiheke homecare offers free practical home help for the incurably ill of any age and their families. They offer Palliative care to improve quality of life of patients and families during the most difficult stage of a life threatening illness.
They have a team of specially trained Volunteers that offer support and respite care.
When losing a loved one they understand how difficult it is, grief counselling, support and bereavement follow ups can be arranged.
Their team can provide healthcare equipment into patients homes free of charge.
Hospice homecare does regular funding to Waiheke health trust to enable district nurses to provide home palliative care and allow patients under 65 years of age to receive home support.
