eRide Waiheke was founded in 2019 by cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts Mark and Katya and operates as a family-run business. They are passionate locals that know all about the island’s charm and eager to share its beauty with visitors.

The best way to access eRide Waiheke would be getting off the fullers boat on Waiheke’s main pier. As you are walking towards the road you will see the eRide on the left. If you are already on Waiheke, the best way to access would be to park at the Matiatia Carpark then just walk towards the Pier.

Close to eRide Waiheke

Fullers – A ferry service that travels from Waiheke Island to Auckland/Devonport. They have a licensed cafe and bar on board, proudly serving a range of goods.

Matiatia Bay – The first beach you see when walking off Fullers or Island Direct passenger ferry services coming from Auckland city or Devonport.

Island Direct – A direct ferry service that travels from Downtown Auckland and Waiheke Island. It is a smaller ferry company in comparison to Fullers.

Shed 36 Cafe – The first and last cafe you will see when you arrive or leave Waiheke. It is located on the Matiatia ferry terminal pier, they serve cabinet food and coffees.

Coastguard Waiheke – A local emergency service that goes to many boat and marine related callouts, such as stuck in the open water, boat wont start or need a tow.

Waiheke Bike Hire – A 300m walk from fullers ferry terminal, it is located in the main car park, hiring Merida & Avanti mountain bikes for $50 a day and $20 per extra day.
