Overview
The 3 Fishes is a small fish and chip shop located in the Putiki food hub, they serve delicious panko, griddled or battered fresh catch of the day fish and twice cooked chips.
Serving one of New Zealand’s favourite go to meals fish and chips of course this place is going to be popular and it certainly has been a hit on waiheke.
On their Facebook page they have daily updates of their fish of the day or you can just go to their counter upon ordering, they have 3 easy steps to follow:
- Step One – Your fish and how many pieces.
- Step Two – Crispy battered, panko crumbed or griddled in lemon, garlic and herb butter.
- Step Three – Your sauce.
They cook it there on the spot usually can be 10-15mins dependent on how many orders they have on the day etc. If you ask they can give you a rough timeframe.
They don’t just do fish and chips you can also purchase raw fish salads, fish wraps and fish or vegetarian burgers, a variety of sides, drinks and even mini desserts pots.
Don’t worry they also have a gluten free option just ask.
