Cable Bay is a vineyard/restaurant located in Oneroa it offers a truly memorable vineyard experience – a cellar door for tasting award-winning wines, exquisite cuisine at their two restaurants, Al Fresco dining, breath-taking sea views, organic garden and luxury accommodation.
Their Cellar Door is open Monday-Sunday, 11 am – 5 pm.
Cable Bay Vineyards produces premium hand crafted wines reflective of the terroir of their estate-owned vineyards located on Waiheke Island and in Marlborough – two of the most distinctive and desirable wine growing regions in New Zealand.
The estate includes vineyards, the winery, olive groves, organic gardens, two restaurants, private event spaces, a cellar door and an expansive outdoor lawn area with spectacular views.
Their first vineyard was planted in 1998 on Waiheke Island and their very first vintage of Chardonnay produced in 2002 won a gold medal at the prestigious International Wine Challenge in London.
They grow their own organic vegetables, micro greens and herbs which are used in their kitchen for everyone to enjoy, also producing their own olive oil and honey.
Cable bay is a perfect venue for weddings or events with also providing accommodation at their beautiful cable bay villa, which accommodates up to 10 guests and isn’t far from the restaurant. Or you can stay at their smaller Luxury guest house.
