Overview

The Hokohoko shop is based on an off street of Oneroa called Waikare road, The building used to be Waiheke’s old police station many years ago.  Now it is owned by Maori Fashion Designer Jeanine Clarkin who started her label over 27 years ago.

Her fashion collections have been shown around New Zealand and international Galleries and in many Fashion Magazines.

In her shop you will find many of her exhibited fashion designs and also can purchase her clothing designs inspired by the Māori culture and language.
her collections are focused on repurposing/ upcycling vintage clothing and making Luxury blankets (Paraikete).

You can also join her and upcycle your own collections during her Make N Model workshops.
