Overview
Waiheke Sustainability Centre is located next to the Waiheke Croquet Club. They share the same grounds. They are approaching sustainability in many ways, this is from learning how to repair items to lower landfill or growing your own vegies to offset carbon emissions from transport. This includes promoting Electric Vehicles.
They also try rescue food before it ends up in dumpsters. This is by connecting with local businesses and bulk accepting the food before it is fully soiled, they then cook this food for the café.
They Also manage Bike Hub, this is for bicycle repairs and safety, keeping cycles safe and road ready.
