Waiheke Medical Centre is one of the local doctors clinics on the island, they have some equipment for testing, plus do a range of appointments, prescriptions, ECG, referral to specialists.
Their doctors are a highly-skilled and a dedicated team offering a wide range of primary health care services.
Waiheke Medical Centre operates along side Piritahi Hau Ora and its Multidisciplinary team to provide primary health care and social services. Both clinics belong to Piritahi Hau ora Trust, with their management team and staff working across both sites.
They offer a wide range of services to support patients. They also offer free general consultations for patients under 13 years old that are enrolled under their centre.
They used to do after hours care but as of 2024 they have removed that from their centre, which has left Waiheke locals confused and worried.
They do infact still have a After hour clinic running Saturdays – 9:30am-4pm and Sundays – 9:30am-1pm.
